BMTech ProXima O-Scan Bone Densitometer
The O-Scan is an ultrasound measuring system for diagnosing osteoporosis. The examination is simple and takes only 30 seconds. The Proxima O-Scan furnishes reliable data for each patient. Due to its progressive technology, variations in the examination results can be precluded. The connection of the sensors to the patient takes place automatically; the analyses are unambiguous, precise, and easy to interpret.
The O-Scan carries out a measurement of the calcaneus (heel). Numerous clinical studies have shown that the bone density at the heel is indicative of a prognoses of hip fractures.
